300th Birthday Weekend
Saturday, November 9
Coventry 300 5k/Walk – 9 a.m.
We will kick off the birthday weekend by hosting a 5k run and walk at 9am. Our hope is to start and finish the run / walk at Coventry Church (946 Keen Road, Pottstown) but those details are still being developed. Updated information will be shared as the plan develops.
Free Food, Games, & Activities 3 – 6 p.m.
Join us for an afternoon of fellowship around games, activities, and food! This is a great time to reunite with old and new friends and people from the community. Our hope is to bring the Coventry Church family of faith together to celebrate our birthday, have fun, and enjoy non-rushed conversations. We will provide the food, drink, and activities. We just need you join us!
Worship Service – 6:30 p.m.
This full day will conclude with a time of worship. Our hope is that the afternoon party crowd will flow into the sanctuary as we praise God for His faithfulness to Coventry Church. Following the time of worship, we will end the day with some ice cream in the fellowship hall.
Sunday, November 10 a.m.
Join us for the culminating event of our 300th birthday celebration. Our guest speaker will be Tim Doering, a leader of Netzer (https://www.netzer.org/), and former pastor of Parker Ford Church. Our hope is to also have former Coventry pastors join us for this celebration. Following our time of worship, we will enjoy a catered meal in the fellowship hall.
